From my research I can se that Richard Heinberg is into political issues. In the introduction of the book "Power Down", Richard tells us solutions for our culture to survive. The quote in the beginning of the introduction really helped me understand it a little better. Also in page 2 the 3rd paragraph really told me a lot about what he was tring to say. I believe Richard is stating that the world is coming to an end, and there is nothing we can do about it. In 3rd paragraph he is in a plane and explains how it is being thrust in to the sky by burning fossil fuels. Also how the surroundings of the plane are made of fossil fuels.
